How do you keep deep nail polish colors from staining toe nails? I have had no success with base coat.?

Please explain to me how you remedied this situation and products or methods used. Darker shades (more than light pink for instance) stain my toe nails but not really finger nails. I have tried to search for a product, but have not had success. Thanks. How do you keep deep nail polish colors from staining toe nails? I have had no success with base coat.?
It's best to try a professional base coat. Also if the nail polish is turning your toenails slightly yellow you can buff them with a buff block (can get these at any beauty supply store) to get rid of the stain. The reason it seems to stain is because your toenail polish last much longer than fingernail polish. It prevents oxygen from getting to your nail and consequently causes it to turn yellow. Try a buffing block and see if that helps eliminate some of the discoloration. Good luck. How do you keep deep nail polish colors from staining toe nails? I have had no success with base coat.?
Quick-drying polishes, which are so popular today, are some of the toughest to remove. I suggest first getting rid of as much as possible with polish remover, such as Andrea Nail Remover Pads. Then, using a super fine-grain white buffing block, like Ardell Buffing Block, lightly buff back and forth to help take care of any leftover polish. That should do the trick.
