What do you do if your toe nail almost falls off?

I was playing around with my little sister and somehow my toe nail almost fell off, It got pushed up, and it was still attached at the end, but you could like lift it and look under it? Gross! But my mom told me to wrap it up, so I took a piece of paper towl and wrapped it up and then taped it, this happend 2 days ago, I was wondering if there is somwthing I should do, like put something on it? Will it get infected?What do you do if your toe nail almost falls off?
Maybe some hydrogen peroxide will help. But it's not a big deal. As your toenail grows, this one will eventually fall off, or you could trim it as it gorws. Don't worry.What do you do if your toe nail almost falls off?
Maybe you broke off the toenail, but it is best to cut the ruptured part.

Put the rest of the unbroken nail under Neosporin or some antibiotic ointment to stop potential infection from the rupture which could lead to painful ingrown toenails later.
