Im guessing its an ingrowing toenail, its on my big top in the cornor on the right and its red and shiny and its swollen and its killling!! it is soo damn painful. how to i get rid of it or stop the pain? please it kills like mad!!How to get rid of an ingrowing toe nail?
i have had a bunch of those, you have a couple of options, you could try to dig it out and stuff some cotton under it for a month or 2 so it will grow in right, or you can go to a toe doctor and have it done in a small procedure which i have done before where they just cut that part of the toenail off and dig it out to. i have done both. it only hurt for like 10 min after both.How to get rid of an ingrowing toe nail?
Let it grow out and then only clip it straight and keep it long enough so that it does not grow back in.
By cutting toenails like you do a fingernail (rounded) you can cause your toe nails to grow inwards.
Do not try to pick or cut it at the side of the toe it will grow right back and then you will have the same problem.
Sometimes soaking your toes a while before you cut them helps soften them and the skin around the ingrown toenail.
In rare cases a doctor could remove the nails and in some cases they can get infected
Best to let them grow out straight and cut them as long as you can stand them.

they'll remove the bit of the nail thats gone into the skin
