I have oozing of white foul smeeling liquid from the wound,will it be infectious if its open .do u suggest me to cover with a bandage and do i have to take antibiotics like erythromycin?For toe nail damage what are the precautions to be taken to avoid infection?
Harry sounds like your nail is already infected, and that white stuff oming out is likely pus. You better get to a podiatrist and get yourself on some antibiotics. You have to get that cleaned. up. Also, in the interim, I would do a foot soak in Peroxide and warm water. Then get to a doctor asap.
