cut the very center part from an onion and put it on the infected area and cover with a bandage but not too tightly--only enough to keep the onion in place--do this before going to bed and when you get up in the morning it will feel a lot better--if it is not healed repeat the next night--this is an old home remedy that really works--i used to have this problem a lot in my teens--to prevent it from happening in the future be sure to cut your toenails regularly but not too short
